Trivia:

  • S.L. is holding a bottle of ginger beer — a non-alcoholic beverage — on the cover art.

    • There is a bowdlerized version of the cover art that Legend made, which shows S.L. holding a flashlight instead of a bottle of ginger beer. This version has not yet been revealed.

  • "Weird Anguished Trouble Caused Havoc In Nightmarish Greatness", "Dark Eastern Tunnels Engaging Ridged Mountains In North America Terrific Event", "DARK", "Apparition", "The Popsicle Song" and "Candy Factory" are the only songs containing lyrics and/or spoken words.

  • "DARK" is the only song in this album with a music video, which is animated. (WARNING: The video has flashing lights. Watch with caution. The video itself already has a warning saying the same thing.)

  • This album is the fourth album to have a single added, the first, second and third being Cosmic GalaxiesVivid Memory and Cardiac Arrest respectively.

  • "Incomplete Descent Into Insanity" is the song used in the album's trailer.

  • "It Never Seems Obtuse Marking Notable Integers Alphabetically" is the longest song in the album.

  • The names of seven of the tracks are acronyms, such as "Light Aspects Concerning Easy Ratios About The Insight Of Networks" (LACERATION) and "Weird Anguished Trouble Caused Havoc In Nightmarish Greatness" (WATCHING).

  • The red dots in the cover art are eyes that belong to a very big, very scary figure. It is mostly concealed, but can be seen by editing the picture... if it works, though I highly suggest against this.

    • A much more "cuter" and colored-in variant of the figure is on the current cover art for the deluxe edition, and instead of looking up at it in a state of fear, S.L. is standing on top of it without a look of fear on his face. (I tried my best to make it as kind-of-cute as possible. It's probably still creepy, but I tried very hard to make it less creepy.)

    • The deluxe edition's album art was originally intended to be the same as the original album's artwork, but the colors are inverted (with the exception of the logo) and the big, scary figure is fully visible. Legend thought that this would be a bit too much, so he made the album art that includes the "cuter" variant mentioned above.

  • "Monster", its 8-bit version, "DARK", "Eerie Melody", "Apparition" and "Candy Factory" are considered somewhat unsettling or downright creepy to Legend, especially "Candy Factory".

    • Legend also thinks that "The Popsicle Song" has some sort of unsettling vibe to it. Sure, it sounds upbeat, but something about it just sounds... off, especially due to it being included at the end of "Apparition".
